When a customer registers an order, an e-commerce file is created. This file is then placed in an FTP folder that Blue Integrator “listens” to.
Blue Integrator maps the information if necessary and submits it to the delivery system which verifies the incoming order and passes relevant information to the business system, storing the rest. If an error occurs, an error message will be sent back to Blue Integrator, which mails the effected customer. Finally, the business system stores the incoming order and registers it.
