UBL – Universal Business Language

Universal Business Language (UBL) is the result of an international effort to create a non-profit standard library of electronic XML business documents for, amongst other things, purchase orders and invoices.

UBL is designed to facilitate connection directly to existing financial and legal systems for audit and document management. This eliminates duplication of data in existing fax and paper-based supply chains. In addition, it provides a gateway to electronic business for small and medium-sized businesses.
