PRICAT is also used for availability through product balance export to different systems and partners. Usually, this export is about the current balance to be exported to customers, internal systems and their own e-commerce system. This distribution of item balance is one of the most frequent and integration-intensive exports to growing SMEs. When working with export balance, we recommend two ways:

• Scheduled export – exports take place at night. This export is for those customers and / or systems that do not want or cannot receive information constantly.
• Event-driven export – exports are continuous and may be second-based or run at short intervals.

To use export using the integration engine, there must be information about the company, article, article type and balance, and whether the export should be scheduled or event-driven. The integration engine filters and transforms information to the different systems and customers.

Export of product information

With regard to EDIFACT and product information, the requirements have substantially increased in recent years. This is because e-commerce has affected the formats and made more and more people understand how important, but also how time-consuming product information management is. Almost all e-commerce platforms, such as Magento, Storm, and Lithium, have different variants of XML schedules that are not adapted to previous standards.
